Celebrity Round-up: Ellen DeGeneres and the Aretha Franklin Hat

Everyone had something to say about the hat Aretha Franklin wore during her performance at President Obama's inauguration, but the general consensus is that she did a smashing job on "My Country Tis' of Thee," a.k.a. "America."

Ellen DeGeneres took "the hat thing" one step farther. OMG reports that DeGeneres wore a mock-up on her television show today. Reactions range from laughter to irate fans who think Ellen DeGeneres should not have made fun of any aspect of the Presidential Inauguration.

Yeah, because political events have never been the topic of comedians and talk show hosts before.

It was a joke. Get over it. I'm sure Aretha Franklin isn't losing any sleep over it.

Celebrity Round-up: Sigourney Weaver Shows Gives a Peek on The View

Has everyone lost their minds today? Sigourney Weaver is being taken to task for a rather revealing shot up her skirt. Of course, TMZ made sure it was brought to the attention of anyone who may have missed the show.

Maybe those of us who think Sigourney Weaver should sit like a lady have our expectations a little to low, and maybe TMZ has their standards a little too low. From what viewers have posted, although it was an awkward moment, nothing could be seen.

To the ladies of "The View" just put her behind the table next time. There are some things the country can't bear to watch. Sigourney's crotch is one of them.

All Eyes on "Lost"


Tonight is the much anticipated season premiere of ABC's "Lost," at 8/7central. The coverage is not quite as frenetic as that for the presidential inauguration, but the fans are about to bust a gut to see the season premiere of "Lost."

The message board at the official website for "Lost" has over 2,000 threads today and over 80,000 people posting and chattering. That's a lot of buzz.
