>> Tuesday, January 13, 2009
Marcus Schrenker, pilot of Piper PA-36 plane, is wanted by authorities. Marcus Schrenker, of Indiana, made a weird report that his small plane, a Piper PA-36, was in trouble. Marcus Schrenker said he experienced turbulence. Schrenker said his windshield had blown into the Piper PA-36 plane and he was cut by glass. Schrenker’s Piper PA-36 crashed on Sunday, Jan 11.
Schrenker said he was bleeding badly. Schrenker set the Piper PA-36 on auto-pilot. Then Schrenker bailed out of the plane. The single engine Piper PA-36 crashed in northern Florida. The Piper PA-36 crashed into swamp of Blackwater River in East Milton, Florida.
Deputies did not find blood at the site of the Piper PA-36. They know Schrenker bailed out on a parachute. Schrenker checked into a hotel in Alabama using an alias but disappeared into the woods.
Schrenker is the president of an Indianapolis agency called Heritage Wealth Management. It seemed Schrenker wanted to fake a plane crash.
