Paes-Dlouhy in men’s doubles semis

Melbourne: India's Leander Paes and Czech Lukas Dlouhy advanced to the doubles semifinal while Sania Mirza and Mahesh Bhupathi fought their way to reach the last four in the mixed doubles of the Australian Open here on Wednesday.
The fourth-seeded Paes and Dlouhy dismissed the late challenge from Italian pair Simone Bolelli and Andreas Seppi to win 6-1, 7-6 (5) in an hour at the Melbourne Park.
Sania and Bhupathi, runner-up of the previous edition, were a set down against Canadian pair Aleksandra Wozniak and Daniel Nestor but rallied to win 3-6, 6-4, 10-5.
In the boys juniors, top-seed Yuki Bhambri swept aside 13th seed Croatian Dino Marcan, 6-3, 6-1.
Paes and Dlouhy won the first set breaking the Italians twice.

The second set saw no break of serve from either pair before Paes and Dlouhy prevailed over the tie-break to win in little over an hour.
They are likely to meet second-seeded Bryan brothers Bob and Mike, who will play fellow Americans John Isner and Mardy Fish in the quarter-final.
Bhupathi and Sania, who were broken twice in the first set, came back to draw level with three break of serve before wrapping up the match in one hour and 15 minutes.
They next play Czech pair Iveta Benesova and Dlouhy, who received a walkover from French Alize Cornet and Brazilian Marcelo Melo.
In the boys singles, Yuki stamped his authority over Marcan, breaking him seven times to win in 78 minutes. He next plays German Richard Becker, who overcame a stiff challenge from Japanese Yasutaka Uchiyama to beat him 6-7(8), 6-4, 6-3.
