According to a source with Bamaonline.com senior writer Chase Goodbread, an MRI of Terrence Cody's right knee revealed a sprained MCL that will not require surgery. The source cited that Cody could miss 3-4 weeks of the season, which will likely keep Mt. Cody out of the lineup in two key SEC road games against Tennessee and LSU.

From al.com - Hopefully we'll know more from Saban this afternoon, but if Cody is out 3 to 4 weeks and misses the LSU game, our defense is in trouble. Ole Miss was able to get those interior runs that no one else has been able to do in the second half when he was out, and Chapman, as good of a NG as he is on passing downs, just isn't going to get it done against the run as well as Cody has. Here's hoping he heals quickly and go at LSU.
