Schools, afterschool activities closed, Fort Campbell opens at noon

Clarksville-Montgomery County Schools are closed today, as are Fort Campbell schools, because of inclement weather.

According to a news release this morning, Fort Campbell's other operations, which were delayed by the winter weather, resume today at noon.

All Clarksville-Montgomery County Schools after school activities have been canceled, according to a news release this morning.

"This includes games, practices, weightlifting and open facilities," schools spokeswoman Elise Shelton said in the release.

Austin Peay State University's main and Fort Campbell campuses are also closed today because of the snow.
