TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - The No. 15/19 Florida State women's basketball team is set to travel to snowy Massachusetts for an Atlantic Coast Conference showdown with Boston College (16-5, 5-2 ACC) Thursday at 7 p.m.

The Seminoles (18-5, 6-1 ACC) are looking to get back to their winning ways after losing to No. 8/11 Maryland, 72-71, on a buzzer-beating 3-pointer at the end of regulation. Prior to the loss to the Terrapins, FSU had rattled off nine-straight victories and was the only unblemished team in league play.

Thursday's game could feature some history being made as senior guard Mara Freshour could become the 23rd player in program history to reach 1,000 career points. The Nashville, Ind. native and team captain is 14 points away from reaching the milestone. In addition to Freshour, junior forward Jacinta Monroe could get close to setting a new school record for most blocks in a career. With 204 career blocks, Monroe is just five shy of tying former Seminole Brooke Wycoff's all-time career record of 209 swats.

The FSU-Boston College game is not televised so those Seminole fans that are interested in following all the action can go to Seminoles.com where play-by-play radio announcer Ryan Pensy and Sports Information Director Brandon Mellor will be sitting courtside detailing everything that takes place inside the Silvio O. Conte Forum. Fans will have access to live updating information as well as the ability to ask questions and share their thoughts about the game.
