NOTIFICATION FOR AWARD OF SENIOR SCALE/SELECTION GRADE SCALE/READER
DESIGNATION UNDER CAREER ADVANCEMENT SCHEME TO THE LECTURERS, LIBRARIANS
AND PHYSICAL DIRECTORS WORKING IN GOVERNMENT DEGREE COLLEGES UNDER
REVISED U.G.C. PAY SCALES 1996.
(For the eligible employees working under the administrative control of Commissioner of
Collegiate Education and Director of School Education)

Applications are invited through proper channel only from eligible candidates from
09/02/2009 in prescribed Application Form only on all working days up to 5-00 P.M. on
09/03/2009 for award of senior scale/selection grade scale/reader designation and for
modification under career advancement scheme to the lecturers working in government
degree colleges in U.G.C. scales under revised U.G.C. Pay Scales 1996. APPLICATIONS
RECEIVED IN PRESCRIBED FORMAT AND WITHIN TIME SHALL ONLY BE CONSIDERED. Filled
in Application Forms shall be submitted to respective College Principals by 09/03/2009 the
Principals concerned should submit the received applications to the Regional Joint Director,
Collegiate Education/ Regional Joint Director of School Education concerned before date
31/03/2009. They shall re-transmit applications of eligible candidates only to the
Commission’s Office on or before 30/04/2009. The details and application format may be
downloaded from APPSC website: www.apspsc.gov.in from 09/02/2009. The Application
Form and details can also be obtained from the Principals concerned.
Last Date for receipt of filled in Applications in the Commission’s Office from Regional
Joint Directors of Collegiate Education/Regional Joint Director of School Education is
30/04/2009.
