Indian School of Business ranks 15 in global B-Schools

In 2008, the ISB was ranked 20 by Financial Times, making it the first Indian business school to be counted among the world’s top 20.
Hyderabad: The Indian School of Business (ISB) has been ranked No 15 in the global B-School rankings released by the Financial Times, London.
Previously, in the year 2008, the ISB was ranked 20 by Financial Times, making it the first Indian business school to be counted among the world’s top 20. This is the second year in a row when ISB has acheived a high rank among leading international business schools, an ISB release said on Tuesday.
“I am very proud of the ISB’s achievements. The high level of commitment of the faculty, students, alumni, and the staff at the ISB as well as the unstinting guidance of its associate schools and the Board, have made it possible for this new institution to overcome many challenges in its formative years”, said Rajat Gupta, chairman ISB.
The FT MBA 2009 rankings, compiled from data supplied by 9,000 business school alumni working in 130 countries, placed London Buiness School as No 1 along with the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
