Even my daughter will know about Tashan, says Kareena Kapoor

Mumbai, Feb 04: Just when the torturous memories of Bollywood lovebirds Kareena and Saif’s most infamous act ‘Tashan’ was fading from audiences mind, Kareena has once again refreshed the horrible impressions the movie left. Unable to come in terms with the films disastrous fate at the BO, the Kapoor lass has again risked speaking in its defence.

While most of B-town celebrities prefer to stay mum on their poor choice of films, Kareena Kapoor is bent upon making her ‘Tashan’ debacle known to future generations as she told a news daily, “Even my daughter will know about the film”.

Unwilling to budge that the film failed on all grounds, the stunner said, “Irrespective of the fact that the movie worked or not; every single bachcha knows about the film — my bikini shot, orange juice diet and… zero figure."

What’s more is that the actress feels it’s her superstar status and family background that makes her a soft target. “Every news channel would run it as a ticker if my movies fail. I guess the case is that I was never an underdog. People and media like those who come from small towns and make it big. They don’t like people who are something and manage to achieve bigger things in life, it’s tougher for us. We have to keep innovating ourselves constantly but they enjoy running us down.”

Well, underdog or no underdog it’s going to take much more than just flaking the media to get a positive nod for ‘Tashan’.
